On behalf of everyone at Refuge, I would like to thank you for your kind donation of £326.70 that you raised through your nonuniform day. The money you have raised could help Refuge to welcome 6 women into one of our refuges for one night, where they can receive emergency accommodation, get emotional support and be signposted to services so they can begin to rebuild their lives. What inspired you to fundraise for Refuge? In the current climate, it is certainly more challenging for women suffering abuse. Refuge’s National Domestic Abuse Helpline is responding to more calls and contacts than pre COVID-19.That’s why every pound you have raised as part of this challenge will enable us to keep fighting the fight for all women and children escaping domestic abuse. If you would like to have a call about how you can continue to support Refuge in the future, please do let me know your availability and I can check my diary.
